As if I hadn't traveled enough, we had decided to meet up with Patrick in San Francisco. And today was the day to leave. This was complicated by our going to concert and dinner in Toronto last night, the staying over at Joel's before driving to the airport for our plane. This seemed easier than trying to get there from Dundas.
"Seemed" is the operative word. Everything was going okay, getting up and out of Joel and Catherine's house, and getting to the airport. We hadn't counted on the tremendous line-ups for the American Customs, and the the security lines. We almost missed our plane!
However, as I write this from our hotel room in San Fran, it seems like it was worth it. The day here was sunny and warm, and the town is always pleasant to visit.
